Summer Intern Program PGC in Partnership with Glynwood Center

Glynwood Center is offering a summer internship during the months of July and August to upcoming high school juniors, seniors, or graduating seniors. Glynwood Center is a non-profit organization promoting the production of foods from local farms for people in its community. This beautiful 255 acre working farm is located in Cold Spring, off Route 301. Applicants should have an interest in helping the Head Gardener in maintaining a flower garden, formal gardens around the main house, and a vegetable garden. The intern is also respoonsible for preparing produce from the vegatable and flower gardens for the Saturday Farmers' Market in Cold Spring and for Glynwood's new program, CSA (Coummunity Supported Agriculture) which is a group of consumers who agree to pay a set amount of money at the beginning of the season for whatever is produced. It is highly recommended that you visit the organizations where you would like to work.
